STEPHEN DEFORGE Obituary

DeFORGE, Stephen Guy Of Norwood, formerly of Jamaica Plain passed away on Tuesday February 21st. He is survived by his loving wife Julie (Stellmach) of 22 years. He is also survived by his adoring sons Jesse P. of West Roxbury, Geoffrey G. of Dorchester and Stephen J. of Norwood, his brothers Michael and his wife Kathleen of Norwood and Kevin and his wife Cheryl of Jamaica Plain. Steve is predeceased by his parents Louis and Rosemary (Sullivan) of Jamaica Plain and Marstons Mills. He was the son-in-law of Joseph Stellmach of Hampton, NH and his late wife Regina and was brother-in-law to the Stellmach and O'Brien families. He will be missed by his Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Saturday February 25 at 12:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Boston College High School through the Stephen G. DeForge Scholarship Fund, 150 Morrissey Blvd., Boston, MA, 02125. Steve and his family request that friends consider making a difference in his memory by becoming an organ donor and making an appointment with the Red Cross to donate blood products (http://www.redcrossblood.org). We all lost a great friend this week. I surely hope when Steve gets to those pearly gates there is hockey being played for him to watch. If not, I'm sure he'll figure out a way to make that happen. We'll miss you "Big Steve".
