Knew steve from high School. We went job searching together. Steve had a silver 66 GTO at the time. One summer we both got jobs at Sinclair Koppers in Carteret, NJ. Just saw this obit, now 8.22. had been searching for Steve for a few years. Just checked the year book for the spelling which thew me off. Steve was a great guy! Rest in Peace buddy!

Steve was a very good friend. One whom I wish I had been able to spend more time with. Only having known him for a few years, I was looking forward to growing a deep friendship well into the future. His wife Jane was also wonderful. I will truly miss them but will never forget Steve's kindness and wisdom from the short time I was blessed with him. Steve spoke to me about his desire to leave a mark on the world. Well my friend, aside from your recent book, you will live inside me and many others, which is the best type of mark one could ever hope to leave in this world, one that will continue forever. God Bless you both. Until we meet again...

Jane was a dear friend of many years from Mount Holyoke and Dartmouth, through skiing and Connecticut connections. Her wedding to Steve was memorable, and their lives together an example of shared goals and committment to friends, family, volunteer work and creative expression through art and gardening and many other areas. My sympathy and condolences go out to all their friends and family. They will be missed by many.

We knew Steve and Jane through the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society. These two creative and vibrant artists were masters of their crafts. Steve's ability to mentor his fellow woodworkers will be especially missed. His cheerful and enthusiastic participation in the activities of LACS and his encouragement for the growth of the Guild made him an outstanding member.
The beauty of his work and Steve's amazing craftsmanship will be a lasting legacy to all who knew him as will Jane's love and care for the environment.
We offer our prayers and sincerest sympathy to the neighbors, friends and family of Steve and Jane.

Many fun memories of skiing together in Vermont, spending Thanksgiving with you and friends when Steve lived in Marlboro, and of course your holiday party in Acton.
You are greatly missed.
