I had the pleasure of working with Steve over the summer last year. He was a fantastic teacher. He greeted me with a smile every morning and was always down to play ball with his students during their break time. He cared deeply for his students. I was so sad to hear of his passing, the world has lost an incredible educator.

I had the absolute privilege of working with Steve at Glastonbury High School this year. He was unbelievably kind, patient, compassionate, and exceptional as a teacher for his students. He truly cared about every single one of them and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure their safety, happiness, and equitable education. He will be sorely missed.

Steve was a kind, caring, and gentle man as I remember him. My prayers go out to his daughters and family. Meditate on this verse, Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding." May you draw close to Christ during this time and going forward for he is our heavenly father who weeps with you and will provide comfort that surpasses understanding. May friends and family wrap their arms around you during this time.
