CLOSE, Sylvia Gelman (Leon) At 102, of Stoughton, formerly of Boston, FL. and Randolph on March 14, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Harry Close and Julius Gelman. Loving mother of Marjorie Slotnick & her husband Allan of Brockton, Steven Gelman & his wife Yoshiko of CA and the late Marsha Richmond & her husband Herbert. Dear sister of Anita Burman and the late Herb, Mike and Sook Leon and Hildy Stone. Beloved Nana to Barry & Michelle Slotnick, Debra Richmond, David & Linda Slotnick, Jon Richmond, Jennifer Gelman, Michael Gelman and the late Adam Slotnick. Cherished great grandmother of Samantha, Andrew, Kalea and Dylan Slotnick. Services at Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington St., CANTON on Sunday, March 19 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. A memorial observance will be held after the interment at Congregation Ahavath Torah, 1179 Central Street, Stoughton.
