THOMAS H. CASEY

CASEY, Thomas H. Of West Newton died on September 3, 2017 surrounded by his family after a long illness. He was 84 years old. Beloved husband of M. Bernadette (Murphy) Casey, to whom he was married for 58 years. A devoted father, Tom leaves his children Suzanne Casey of Newton, Janice Casey Frase and her husband Gerrit of North Falmouth, Diane Palazesi and her husband L.J. of East Sandwich, and Thomas Casey and his wife Martha of Winchester. He was the cherished grandfather of Emily, James, Grace and Liza Palazesi, Alexandra and Thomas Casey and Conor Frase. He also leaves his brother Robert Casey and his wife Eleanor of West Harwich and brother in law Kevin Murphy of Cape Coral Florida. Tom grew up in Belmont, MA the son of Henry and Eileen (Cassidy) Casey. Tom graduated from Boston College High School and Boston College where he received a BSBA degree. Upon graduation Tom served in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant. A CPA, Tom held senior leadership roles with The Amoskeag Company, Puma USA Inc. and Middlesex Gases and Technologies. His funeral will be from the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home, 465 Centre St., NEWTON CORNER on Thurs. Sept. 7 at 9:30 AM followed by his Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Wed 4-8 PM. Interment with Military Honors in Newton Cemetery.
