THOMAS CASEY Obituary

CASEY, Thomas E. "Tom" Age 87, of Brighton, passed away peacefully, on May 9, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Casey. Devoted father of Diane and her husband, Neil Crowley of West Roxbury, David and his wife, Penney of Westwood and Thomas Casey and his partner, Liz Jackson of South Boston. Loving Papa to Lauren and Gabriella Casey and Katie and Lily Crowley. Brother of the late Michael, John, Andrew, Mary and Catherine. Survived by William and Barbara Casey, Laura Casey and many beloved nieces and nephews. Tom was a lifelong resident of Brighton, a dedicated Probation Officer at Brighton District Court for over 30 years and the proud owner of Casey Real Estate. A graduate of Boston College, he was also a valuable two-way player of the BC Eagles Football Team, lettering in 1958 and 1959. Tom was a kind and generous man, known for his warm heart, love of storytelling and warm laugh. Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave., BRIGHTON, on Monday, May 19, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market St., Brighton, at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, May 18, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tom may be made to St. Francis House, Boston.
