1948 - 2016

HARVEY, Thomas K. "Jak" Of Beverly, beloved husband of Laura J. (Kelley) Harvey, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He followed his passion in photography and continued a twenty year career at the New England School of Photography, running the digital lab until the time of his retirement in 2013. Also survived by a step-daughter, Hayley Marks of Beverly, a step-son, Evan Marks of Lakeville, CT, two sisters, Margaret Callahan of Braintree and Sandy Potter and her husband, Dennie of Smyrna, DE, a brother, Kirk Harvey and his wife, Jan of Roslindale, his niece Nicole and her husband Kevin Ryan, their 3 sons, and nephews Matt and Will Harvey. He was predeceased by his nephew Eric Callahan. He also leaves his many cousins and extended "family" at the New England School of Photography. Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, BEVERLY, Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. followed by Words of Remembrance from family and friends at 6 p.m. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Sheltara Humane Society, 141 Memorial Parkway #199, Randolph, MA 02368.
