THOMAS HICKEY Obituary

HICKEY, Thomas Joseph Age 80 years, of Plymouth, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Mr. Hickey is survived by his wife, Lillian L. (White) Hickey of Plymouth; his daughter Lynette C. (Hickey) Kelley and Obadiah C. Kelley of Ashby, MA. Grandfather of Aiden M. Mansani of Ashby, MA. Brother of the late James Hickey and the late Agnes (Hickey) Lunny, both formerly of Medford, MA. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews. Tom was a United States veteran, and served in Korea. He enlisted in the Army in 1964 and had an honorable discharge in 1966 as a Private First Class. Tom was a talented carpenter who served as a Union Steward for the Carpenters, Local 328/formally Local 40, in Cambridge, MA for over 30 years. Funeral from the Cartmell Life Celbration Funeral Home, 150 Court Street (downtown), PLYMOUTH, MA, on Thursday at 9:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 126 South Meadow Road, Plymouth at 10:30AM. Interment will be held in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne, MA. Family and friends will honor and remember Tom's life by gathering for Visiting Hours on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 4:00PM – 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Plymouth Council on Aging, 44 Nook Rd., Plymouth, MA 02360. Guestbook at www.cartmelldavis.com
