Dear Betsy and family,

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I still remember Prof. Kincaid very well. I was one of his graduate teaching fellows in the Fall of 1994. Tom was always very kind to me. Knowing that I was an international student, he invited me over to celebrate Thanksgiving with your family that year. May the Lord grant you His peace during this difficult time.

Dear Betsy and family,
We are sharing with you in loss. Tom gave us his friendship and gave us the pleasure of knowing him.
His battle with losses that came with parkinson's was honest and his response reflected the depth of his faith. We will miss him and will continue to hold you in our prayers. In His love. Virgil & Phyllis

Dear Betsy
The news of Tom's passing left me with a heavy heart. As you probably know, I admired him enormously--he was among the most honest, fair-minded, and gentle leaders I have ever known, and I relied upon his judgment throughout my years as Dean. I, along with the College and University, benefited greatly from his presence.
