THOMAS M. LALLY

LALLY, Thomas M. Of Allston, passed away on November 2,2025. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Eileen (Moore) Lally for over 65 years. Devoted father of Kathleen Clifford and her partner James Hilton, Thomas and Bernadette Lally, Michael and Liz Lally all of Allston, Richard and Viviane Lally of Rio de Janiero, Brazil and Patrick Lally and Martin Zogran of Jamaica Plain. Loving grandfather of Joan and James Clifford, Kyra Lally, Shiela and Liam Lally. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A long time Allston resident, Mr. Lally graduated from St. Anthony's and Boston Technical High School. After serving in the US Army Corps of Engineers he entered the family business as a bricklayer while pursuing an Engineering Degree from Northeastern University. He was employed as a Civil Engineer in the construction of Boston's Prudential Center and Smith College in Northampton. He subsequently became a teacher and taught in the Boston Public Schools for over 25 years. He was active in St. Anthony's Parish and an Executive Board Member of the Allston Civic Association. A true Renaissance man, he will be remembered by all for his extensive tool collection and skills as a woodworker, engineer and advocate for his community. Funeral from the Lehman, Reen, & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave., BRIGHTON on Friday, November 7, at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Church, 43 Holton St., Allston at 11 AM.
