MELI, Thomas Of Mansfield, formerly of Hanover, January 20, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Pamboukas). Devoted father of Christopher Meli and companion Barbara Arnold of Brookline,and John J. Meli and his wife Lou Ann of Mansfield. Brother of the late Joseph Meli, Mary Gentile, and John Meli. Brother in law of Elizabeth Mathews of Roslindale. Beloved grandfather of Ian, Laina, and Lea. Great grandfather of Jack, Claire, and George. Also survived by nieces and nephews. A Gravside Service will be held Friday, January 23 at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, 409 Corey St., West Roxbury, at noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Late WWII Army Veteran.

Tom Meli was an average guy, so if average means hard working, devoted to his family, loyal to his friends,always haaving a kind word and a smile, always glad to see you, always willing to accept a new chllenge, then I want to be average just like he was. Oh, and thanks for the bookcase/bench at the cape house. When we see it we will always think of you.
