Vasco Lima Obituary

Of St. Petersburg, FL formerly of Lexington March 26, 2007. Mr. Lima was born in Cambridge, MA. He moved from Lexington to St. Petersburg, FL in 1980. He was a licensed Nursing Home administrator and owned and operated Nursing Homes in Massachusetts. An avid golfer and tennis player, he was a member of the Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country club in St. Petersburg where he was formerly on the Board of Directors. Husband of Mimi A. (Castellana). Father of Cheryl Drummey of Boston, Sharon MacKenzie of Lexington, Judy Callahan of Stoughton, Janis Lewis of Epsom, NH and Susan Sgroi of Winchester. Brother of Mary McGurk of Crystal City, VA and the late Elizabeth Sullivan. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. LEXINGTON Sat. March 31 at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church Lexington at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Fri. 4-8 PM. Donations in Mr. Lima's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, 1040 Woodstock Rd. Orlando, FL 32803. Interment Westview Cemetery Lexington.
