VERONICA "RONNIE" LANE

LANE, Veronica "Ronnie" (Hughes) Of Braintree, formerly of Westwood, passed away on June 24, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Veronica was 92 years old. Beloved wife of the late Andrew P. Lane. Devoted and loving mother of John F. Lane of Braintree, Helen Callis and her husband Jan of Weymouth, and the late Ann Lauzon, and Maureen and James Lane. Dear Nana to Robert, James, Jr., Kristen, and Kaitlyn Lane. Loving sister of the late Ann Schultz and Evelyn Hughes. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ronnie was a former member of the Island Grove Chorus based in Abington and spent many years singing with this talented group of women. She enjoyed their friendship and had many wonderful, fun adventures with them. Ronnie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She will fondly be remembered for her enjoyment of life - singing, entertaining, traveling and her love of family and friends. Visiting Hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, on Friday, June 28, from 4-8pm. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Saturday, June 29, at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Denis Church, Westwood, at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
