He was at St. Christine's in Marshfield and I was a CCD teacher and he would often come out and greet me. I would say "Hello Father" and he would say "Hello daughter". I loved him.

When I attended St Francis de Sales in Charlestown he was a priest at our parish and aside from him playing guitar at mass I will ALWAYS cherish his demeanor when hearing confessions of all the kids.... he NEVER made you feel ashamed he instead offered heartfelt advice and when your confession ended you left feeling like a better person !!! Thank you Fr Doolan!!! Rest In Peace!!

Father Vincent Doolan was a gentle person. He was easy to talk to. I had many pleasant conversations with him at St Mary Parish, Randolph. He included humor in his homily that we don’t ever seem to hear at the pulpit. I will miss him. God bless his family. He is in my prayers.
