Of Quincy, March 20, 2006. Loving and devoted husband of Winifred J. "Jean" Burgess. Loving father of Linda DiCicco of East Bridgewater, Cheryl Michaud and her husband David of Quincy, Maureen Burgess of Douglas, Brian Burgess and his wife Sandy of Haverhill and the late Walter D. Burgess, Jr. Funny "Grampy" to eight grandchildren. Brother of Geraldine Moran of Weymouth, Florence Frangioso of Hyde Park and Arthur Burgess, Jr. of South Boston. A Funeral Service will be held in the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St. (Off Hancock St.) QUINCY CENTER on Saturday morning at 10:00. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Please visit our website for a guestbook and directions. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to write to us regarding my fathers death. He was the most unique man in the world and we will miss him every minute of every day. He had no regretes and my sister Cheryl had given him so much help during this trying year and I and the entire family are greatfull for that. I love you Daddy, and will think of you every minute of every day.
