William Acheson Obituary

75, of Skyline Dr, Sanbornton, NH and 2652 S.W. River Shore Dr, Port St. Lucie, FL. and formerly of Laconia, died Feb 18, 2005 in FL. He was born Oct 24, 1929 in Cambridge, MA, the son of Robert A and Irene (O'Hare) Acheson. He served in the U. S. Navy as well as the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was the founder and owner of A.R.T. Assoc. in Laconia, NH. Survivors include his wife, Joan (Coyle) Acheson, of Sanbornton and Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin & Jodi Acheson, of Sanbornton, NH; William R. and Sheila Acheson, Jr. of Pembroke, NH a daughter and son-in-law Susan and Richard Keough of Loudon, NH; 6 grandchildren; a brother Robert Acheson of Medford, MA; several nephews & nieces. Beside his parents he was predeceased by 2 sisters Barbara Whoriskey and Ruth Fagan. Calling hours will be held Thursday Feb24, 2005 from 6-9 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, LACONIA, NH. using the Carriage House entrance. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave, Laconia, NH on Friday Feb 25, 2005 at 10:00AM. Spring burial will be in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, NH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc., P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 03220-3049. Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
