We will certainly miss Conky in the neighborhood. Knowing that he was right across the street made us all feel safe. And he always had nice things to say, especially about his family. Our deepest sympathies to the Concannon family. May his life be for a blessing and may his soul rest in peace.

I owe Bill a lot. When my son was a young boy, he had some behavioral issues. There were a time or two when he would walk out of school but stay on the property. Bill was able to convince him to come back in. There was one time when Bill (Conkie) "borrowed" a cruiser for an emergency visit to Mass General for me and my son. Another time my son had some serious thoughts about killing and I encouraged him to go see Officer Concannon at the NPD, which he did.
I would see Bill most days at McD with Bobby Newton where he used to throw his coffee change at me. He was known by the staff as always having a big smile on his face and a hearty chuckle. It is not the same there and he is sorely missed!

Bill is one of the finest people I´ve ever met, and I was fortunate enough to have started and finished on the P.D. with him. Very levelheaded and thoughtful gentleman. A great legacy, and a family left to cherish the memories.
I´m thankful to have known you.

Conc, So shocked to have learned of the passing of the finest human being I have ever known! Remembering the many times we would meet at Roche Bros and block isle traffic with our conversations as well as at street "details"
that you were working! You were a true friend. I offer my prayers and sympathy to the entire Concannon Family. May The Lord Rest Your Soul.
As always, your friend,
