WILLIAM COUGHLIN Obituary

COUGHLIN, William M. Of Dorchester, MA, passed away peacefully at home, on June 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Darlene (McKeen) Coughlin. Loving father of Michael and his wife, Blair, and Nicole Drouin and her husband, Michael. Adored "Gramps" of Nora, Jack, Grace, and June. Son of Elizabeth Coughlin and the late Francis Coughlin. Brother of Mary, Noreen, Jane, Kathy, James and Michael (Frank). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. William dedicated nearly 40 years to the City of Boston, most recently serving as Director of Central Fleet Management until his retirement in 2024. Visiting Hours will be held at John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St., Dorchester, July 1, from 10:00-12:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hamilton House, P.O. Box E15, South Boston, MA 02127.
