We are so sorry for your loss. Judy and Gary, you couldn't have done any more. Billy couldn't have had a better sister and brother-in-law. He was blessed to have you by his side. Billy is now peaceful and home with your Mom Corrine. We love you !

Billy was just an amazing person in every sense. I challenge you to find someone who knew Billy and didn´t like him. I remember when the family dog "Max" would come home with a chicken carcass from SalaNora´s trash and Billy would just take it in stride saying "Max, come here" and just take the chicken bones away and smile. I would be cooking chicken cutlets with Corine and Billy would come in and shake his head with a smirk "are you guys cooking for an army?" This is not just a family loss but a loss to anyone who knew Billy or the Lagorio family. The Best Family I will ever know. I am sure that right now the Saints have Billy training Seabiscuit for the next race. Billy, I love you buddy, you are truly an inspiration for us all.

Dear, Peter, Richard and Judy,
Please accept my condolences.
I wasn´t the only friend who appreciated Billy Lagorio´s hair-trigger wit and biting sense of humor.
My mom, Louise, was fond of Billy, whose smirk and smile kind of gave it away when he was about toss one of his infamous, gotcha barbs your way. Louise loved Billy´s jokes and self-deprecating humor. Not many unsuspecting friends could top Lagorio in a showdown of wit and humor
Billy was smart, but any time I was in the room with him at the humble Lagorio home, I prepared myself for Billy´s verbal shots at me. He sometimes could be seen reading the newspaper and suddenly look up and say with devious grin, "How are you doing, Anthony." That´s when I braced myself, waiting for Billy to bushwhack me with one of his stinging zingers. He always delivered and never missed the mark.
And when all three, rambunctious Lagorio brothers were in the same room, well, take cover. They are all good people and friends.
Listening to Billy and Big Al discuss horse racing at Suffolk (Suffering) Downs on a Sunday morning at Magees was a lesson in sarcasm. Billy was indeed fast to the draw with humor and made Al smile as he uttered "Oh, boy!" Billy was relentless and often commanded the floor as the morning crowd shuffled in to get their cold cuts, coffee and engaged in an endless discussion of sports with the Revere High baseball coach.
Losing Billy is difficult for me because he was a part of those wonderful memories of us hanging out at the Lagorio home. Billy senior and Cora always made me feel at home - and Cora was a true friend to my mother.
Peter, Richard and Judy, I am sorry for your huge loss. Billy is also part of my childhood and those memories of him and all of you, for that matter, will last a lifetime.
Sincerely, Anthony Blasi

Dear Judy and Gary,
I am heartbroken for your loss of your wonderful brother, Billy. I know how very close you were and how much you loved him. He was very fortunate to have you both in his life- your support to him during his illness was constant and loving. If I can do anything for you - to help in any way- please let me know.
Take good care. Thinking of you at this very tender time.
Love, Lenore
