WILLIAM J. LANCILOTI Sr.

LANCILOTI, William J. Sr. Of Newton, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy J. (Nicolazzo) and loving father of William, Jr., Michael, Cynthia, Stephen, Scott (Dana) and the late Dianne. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Adam, Christopher, Madeline, Logan, Violet and Calla. Dear brother of Laverne Mercerau and the late June Lane. Affectionately known as "Guido," Bill grew up outside of Chicago where he excelled in speed skating and baseball. In his 60's & 70's he roller skated weekly while spending his winters in Florida. In his 80's he still loved to dance and at 87 played pool every night for 2 hours. Mr. Lanciloti was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean War. Family and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Monday, April 26, from 4-8PM in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., WEST NEWTON. Funeral services will be private.
