William McAdoo Obituary

80 years, of Beachwood Terrace, Wells, ME, formerly of Belmont and Cambridge, MA, beloved husband of Jean (Donovan) McAdoo; beloved father of William Andrew McAdoo of Medford, MA, Stephen Paul McAdoo of Belmont, MA, Janet Paterson and her husband Kenneth of Chelmsford, MA, and Mary Tuohey and her husband Michael of Whitman, MA; beloved grandfather of Karen, William, Lindsay, Stephen, Amanda, and Brian; beloved brother of Albert McAdoo, died Saturday, September 29, 2007 at his home in Wells surrounded by his loving family. Born August 2, 1927 in Cambridge, MA, the son of William and C. Edith (Yore) McAdoo, William graduated from St. Mary's High School in Waltham, Boston College, and Suffolk University. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 2 at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Road, Wells, ME from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 3 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church on Eldridge Road in Wells. Interment will follow at a later date in Mount Auburn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086-1246.
