Being in Bill’s company was always such a pleasure. He was invariably considerate, welcoming, and generous with his time. It was lovely to enjoy his company at BBQs, boating, or snowmobiling in Maine. In particular on snowmobile forays I so appreciated Bill’s thoughtfulness in always making sure that I, as a slower rider somewhat behind, was always safe.
Bill was a loving and kind person, and he is immensely missed.

Bill, I know we´ll meet again one day. I look back over my pictures and thought how lucky I was to be able to share all the hikes in the woods to the waterfalls and the many dinners in Rangeley. The many snowmobiling trips we went on and all the fun we had every winter. I remember the cruises and all the fun that we had on those trips. I still can´t believe you were fearless enough to go zip lining a few times with us. We recently watched the movie of our White water rafting trip in Maine, you really took to it and I still can´t believe that after 70 years of age, you were willing to do all these crazy things. Thank you for all those beers we shared together and keeping the Guinness in the fridge. I regret us not finally going to Ireland like we had talked, but who knows if I get there I´ll be sure to have a Guinness for you. love you miss you thank you for all the memories. You were more of a father to me and a grandfather of my children than my own father was. Thank you for the trip to Disney it meant a lot to all of us.Even Zeus loved you, that´s saying something.
