My condolences to the entire Murray family on the passing of one of the finest gentlemen I have ever known. My late father, John F. "Senator" Ryan and Bill (the last real chairman the Mailers Union at The Boston Globe) worked together for many years for the benefit of their brother and sister Mailers. I could always depend on Bill, Sr. to be there in times of need. Thank you for the Christmas cards during some of my darker hours. I'm sorry I didn't get the news earlier to share your celebration of his life in person. He will always be a Mailer's Mailer and a Gentlemen's Gentleman in my book.
