WILLIAM L. "BILL" MURRAY

MURRAY, William L. "Bill" Of Medford, September 26th. Beloved husband of Miriam (Walsh) Murray. Father of Cassidy Murray of Winchester, Cheryl Murray of Medford, and Frank Murray and his wife Tracy of Medford. Grandfather of Christopher, Caitlyn and Erin. Brother of the late Thomas, Walter, Frederick, Norman, Harold and Joseph Murray and Lorraine Steenbrugger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bill was born and raised in Medford, and has been a resident for most of his life. He served as a policeman on the Medford Police Department, retiring as Detective Sergeant after 41 years of service to the community. He received his Bachelor's Degree at Northeastern University and his Master's Degree at Anna Maria College. For many years, Bill worked as a maintenance worker at St. Joseph Parish in Medford. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., MALDEN, on Saturday, September 30th, at 9 AM followed by his Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 29th, from 4-7 PM.
