WILLIAM F. ROBERTS

Roberts, William F. Of North Attleboro died after a lengthy illness on November 10, 2014 at the age of 77, surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late William F. and Hilda B. Cherished husband of Mary "Peg" (O'Connor) Roberts for 50 years. Beloved and loving father of Mark Roberts and his wife Katie of North Attleboro, Jennifer Mayo and her husband Michael of Agawam, Sean Roberts and his wife Colleen of Halifax, Gregory Roberts and his wife Lori of Medford. He leaves the joy of his life, his grandchildren, Timothy, Connor, Ann, Nicholas, Patrick, Meghan and Rachel. He also leaves his brother-in-law, John Valleli of West Roxbury. He attended UMASS Boston and worked there as Garage Supervisor for 25 years. He was lector at Sacred Heart Church in Roslindale for many years. He took great joy in driving the second graders of the school on their field trips. He was a lifelong resident of Dorchester and Roslindale neighborhoods of Boston before moving to North Attleboro 10 years ago. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 16 at Sperry & McHoul, 15 Grove Street, NORTH ATTLEBORO, from 1-4 p.m. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday, November 17 at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass celebrated at St. Mark's Church, 105 Stanley Street, Attleboro Falls. Burial will be in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Bill's memory to the CVNA, 10 Emory Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
