William Sasso Obituary

In Revere, Feb. 23, at 82 years, unexpectedly. Son of the late Vincenzo & Domenica (Silvestri). Beloved brother of Enrico "Edward" Sasso & his wife Rosalie of Haverhill & the late Gino & Robert Sasso. Dear brother in law of Alice Killion-Sasso & Virginia Sasso of Revere. Devoted uncle of Jeanne P. Beck of Melrose, Kathleen A. Polito of Woburn, Mary A. Talbot of Scituate, Linda Langone of Bedford, Robert Sasso Jr. of Melrose, Joanne Chapis of Sanford, ME, Deborah Flanagan & Philip Sasso both of Haverhill. Also lovingly survived by many grand nieces & nephews. Family & friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Vertuccio Home For Funerals, 773 Broadway, (Rte. 107) REVERE, on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours are Wednesday only 3-8 p.m. Parking is available in the lot left of the Funeral Home. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Late WW II Army Veteran. Member of Revere Lodge of Elks #1171 & The Catholic "Grads" - Boston Chapter, Past President of Revere Smart Set Seniors & Eucharistic Minister for Immaculate Conception Parish & the Lighthouse Nursing Care Ctr. Retired educator & teacher for the Swampscott & Revere School systems. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Revere Society for Cultural & Historic Preservation, 108 Beach St, Revere, MA 02151.
