Can't believe it! Just relocated back to the Boston area after 7 years and wanted to get back to our dentist, Dr Bill Soderberg...my wife and I were actually looking forward to reaquainting ourselves with Bill...he was our dentist from 2001-2003...never met a dentist like him before or since.....how sad! He made a huge impression on me and my wife...what a guy!

I am just now getting confirmation on Bill's passing. Gordon Toy provided the information (one of our Miami Friends). Bill was a great friend - High School Time - His parents were simply super - in providing an open window to our own future. Being two years older than Bill - I always felt he was a year older - he had great perspective which we and our families shared together (who is taking who to lunch following Church and who can make the rest laugh the most = when that was not enough we communicated in the magical language of "Aub" which some of you may have heard. I remember Bill as a friend and a truly gifted person.

I am truly saddeded to hear of Bill's passing away. I remember a young Bill of 16 or so, when we hung out together. We both attended the Bethany Covenant Church in Miami. The pastor's son, Paul and I used to drive in his old Model-T down US 1 to find out exactly where he did live. Mangowood was out in the middle of nowhere at the time. I remember spending weekends at Bill's house and listening to records of the day all night. I do have an old photo of Bill when we were at church camp. I'll try to find it for the family. Again, I am truly sorry that I couldn't have found him when he was with us. He was a true friend

It's been nearly a year since I learned of Dr. Soderberg's passing and still I think of him often.I actually looked forward to my dental appointments as Dr.Soderberg and his staff made them such a pleasant experience. I loved how Dr. Soderberg sang along with the wonderful music he played. He had a way of making everyone feel special. I will never forget him.

My husband and I just heard the very sad news and we are heartbroken about Dr. Soderberg's passing. He was out dentist for several years and we loved going to see him. He was a fabulous guy who made us laugh and feel at ease. During one of my visits to him, he mentioned a particular song that he liked and could not remember who sang it. So, I did some research for him on my computer and brought it up to his office. He was thrilled! We are so sad and will never forget him.

Dear Sherry,
We were both shocked and saddened by the news of Bill's sudden passing. Although we only knew him for a short time, we will always remember him. He was so full of life: funny, kind and passionate.

Dr.Soderberg
was a great and friendly person, humorous, kind, and gentle. He was also such a great dentist. He could understand my mumbling through a mouth full of novacaine and dental instruments!
He always asked about my family, including my daughter, sister and her little girl adopted from China, all of whom became his patients. He used to comment on how great he thought it was they we had a blended family: Jewish and Chinese! He had often requested that we snap a photo
of us in front of the kosher chinese restaurant in Brookline th at we
have frequented. How I wish that we had done this for him!
He was a family man in the best sense and always brimming with stories and jokes and tales of his beloved wife and daughter and the dog! We will all miss him. We are so very saddened by his passing. We will keep
his family in our prayers although we were never fortunate enough to actually meet Dr. Johnson or Dr. Britt Soderberg and her husband.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Dr. Soderbergs family! He spoke of you often with such admiration and love. I consider myself blessed to have been Dr. Soderberg's patient for about 13 years. With his jokes, songs, compassion and wonderful stories (espcially about his parents), Dr. Soderberg will always be one of my most favorite people! I loved him like family and will miss him greatly.

I cannot express how truly sorry I am for the loss of Dr. Soderberg. He had a gift for making every patient feel as though he had been eagerly waiting all day just to see them. Who'd ever heard of enjoying a trip to the dentist? Well, any of his patients, that's who. I will miss him dearly and I know my 8 year old son, Aidan will also miss his friendly dentist. My sisters, who were also patients of his will miss his as well. God bless his marvelous soul and comfort his dear family.

A great dentist and an even better man! Our hearts and prayers go out to the entire Soderberg family. Not only did we all love his sense of humor and his musical talents, he always welcomed us into his office as if it was his home. With a smile, a joke, and a story as only he could tell them.

We are shocked and saddened at the loss of cousin Bill. Wish we could be there but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. When you remember his stories, include the years he played Santa Claus for Jill and Lynne ...with a Swedish accent. He was a student then in Chicago and came to spend Thanksgiving with our family. My family and I were patients of Dr. Soderberg's for well over 20 years. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a big personality; kind and funny, always with a song and a joke. Amazingly I found that it is possible to laugh with multiple dental instruments in my mouth! An appointment with Bill was well worth the drill. I will really miss him. My heartfelt sympathy to his wife and daughter. He always spoke of you with great pride and love.

To the Soderberg Family: My husband and I were stunned and saddened to hear of Dr. Soderberg's passing. He often told stories of his trips, or sipping sparkling cidar with his family during his daughter's residency on New Year's Eve in the Hospital. His giggle was absolutely contagious. In fact I barely remember having dental work done because of his wonderful stories. Our heartfelt sympathy to his family.

To Dr. Soderberg's Family: My entire family were not only long time patients of his but considered him a friend. His wonderful and caring nature will be missed by all. From sitting in the "chair" and having him comment on my daughter's choice of shoes and her pocketbook to telling me his latest joke with that giggle of his we have so many memories of this wonderful and gentle giant of a man. He always wanted to know family news of ours and liked to be shown the latest snapshots we had. Everyone who went to the office was serenaded at one time or another with his love of showtunes. Dr. Bill will be sorely missed by all of us. Sincerely, Karen, Emily and Kate Sheridan, also Helen and John Baxivonus.
