When the Spanos family moved next door, in between the Luz family and thier 6 kids and the Frisone family and thier 6 kids they instantly became beloved neighbors, and it wasn't because they had a pool! Mr. Spanos was always had a very witty comment to make when he walked into the house and us kids were all about.

Valeri, Phillip and Michael, my heart goes out to you and your loss. My own father passed recently, my memories of Arthur standing out in the front yard talking with "Bill Spanos" are cherished. How those two could talk! Now they are watching over us and our familes, our children, and loved ones.

Hi Val, Michael & Phillip,

I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing. Our dads go back quite a way and so do our families. I understand how difficult this time is for you as it was with my dad; time will lessen your pain, as will your family. I will be seeing you Friday. Our thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry to hear that Bill has passed away. Regretfully, I lost touch with him after Angie Bergamini passed away and the band dissolved. I will always remember him as a friend and a mentor. We rode together many times to gigs with Angie Bergamini's band, and I always enjoyed our time together on these rides, listening to tunes and talking. He gave me insight into investing, and encouraged me to learn more about making my money work for me. I loved his phrasing on the tenor sax! He had a warm, buttery sound that would put a smile on your face. Bill, you will be missed, but never forgotten.

My sympathies to all of his family members.
