Of Newton, December 8, 2007. Beloved husband of Mary (Ryan) Thomas. Brother in law of Anne Gilpatrick, William and Edward Ryan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Blackington, Conroy & Hayes Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St. (Rte. 16) WEST NEWTON, Tuesday, December 11 at 9:30 A.M., followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Church Newtonville at 10:30 A.M. Visiting hours Monday 4-6 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Newton Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2042 Beacon St. Newton, MA 02468. Mary, I am so sorry to read of this sad news tonight, too late to attend the funeral and offer my condolences in person. Your husband had a good life, with you by his side, and I know he'll be sorely missed. Matthew and I will come by for a visit in the week after Christmas.
