This is Bunny Gordon ( Waldfogel ). WOW! Memories! The laughter and love between my Mom and Zelda gives my heart a lift every time I think of them. Nantasket Beach. Sunnyside Market. Canasta. And the BIG MahJongg game in the sky. I will picture them forever in their “$5 Specials” For those of you who don’t know what that is, contact me, I’d be more than happy to share the story.

We will remember "The Big Z" always, with love and good memories...the best passover rolls, the poppy seed muffins, the applesauce and so many other great memories and putting one quarter in the slot machines. We love you Zelda...rest in peace.

For 50 years, my parents, Ben and Irma Waldfogel, celebrated LIFE with "Auntie" Max and "Uncle"Zelda. They (the women) were both "Zaftigh", beautiful, intelligent, women. Together, they contributed to the Jewish community, not only by serving on the Board of Directors (treasurer/president) of Beth El Synagogue, in Dorchester, MA, but by putting on Ostrich feathers and dancing a Can-Can in the annual fund raising extravaganza! I happened to have been in Boston and Susi and I visited "Auntie Max" within 10 days of his passing. he was pretty detiorated, but he grabbed my hand, looked at me, and said; "Niecee?" Wheew, Nan, every time I eat LOX, Auntie Max is with me.(How 'bout the lamp shade on the head incident?) Stephen (Wheew) and Stanley(Nanny), we go back a while, and I just want to say to you, I know it HURTS!!
