Dear McCarthy family & Christine Lang. It is with great sadness that I have discovered Anna's passing. Anna was one of the most inspirational persons of my childhood, and a most memorable person of my adult life. At the time I was too young and lost to appreciate all of her love, support & generosity. But clearly it remained with me. Within recent years I have actually been overwhelmed by how much she remains in my heart. Thank you all for including me in your family. And Tina, thank you for sharing your mom and family with me. I think of you often and wish you peace.

I will forever remember Anna as the beautiful, kind and loving woman that she was. Anna was my aunt Joan Daly's lifetime friend, so close that I considered the McCarthy family an extension of the Daly clan, and in extension, my own. She will be dearly missed. Love and comfort to the family, and to all who loved Anna.
