I just learned of your Mom's passing. I'm sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful woman. I know my mom always thought alot of her. And personally, I was touched by your Mom's presence at my Mom's wake. May they both rest in peace. My sincerest condolences to you all.

Betty Smith Hatch was one of six in the first class of Cadet Nurses to graduate from the Brockton Hospital in 1946, under the Director, Miss
Hayword. In that class there were Betty, Olive,Shirley, Louise, Mary and Emily(me). It was a good experience, we all bonded and became good friends. Betty was a lovely lady and I will miss her. Rmily Brittain Zegeer
