LISTON Emily Therese of Braintree, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, September 15, 2016. Beloved daughter of Robert S. and Lorraine M. (Nickerson) Liston of Braintree. Loving sister of John P. Liston of Wilmington, Robert T. Liston of San Diego, CA. Granddaughter of the late Paul and Dorothy Liston and John and Eleanor Nickerson. Cherished niece of Marion Hessel of Weymouth, Anne and Kevin Stone of CO, Nancy and David Blackham of Weymouth, Margaret and Tom Connolly of Dedham, Linda Young of Dedham, Marylou and Ralph Fox of MD, Edward and Mary Liston of NH and Elizabeth and John Twoomey of NC. Adored great-niece of Marion and Donald Hussey of Hyde Park. Godmother to Lilly Curran of Pembroke. Emily will be missed by her dog, Fenway and her cat, Pesky. Emily is also lovingly survived by many cousins, friends as well as all her “lifelines”, her PCA’s and nurses, especially her dear friend Lisa Wing, who took special care of Emily over the years. Emily graduated with honors from Braintree High School, Class of 2006. In 2000-2001, she was the proud Ambassador for the Massachusetts Chapter of Muscular Dystrophy. She had a special place in the heart for the U.S. Women’s Soccer team and had a passion for Boston sports always cheering on her Red Sox, her Patriots and her Bruins teams. Emily will be forever remembered as a trivia expert. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 A.M. Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 A.M.
