beloved son, father, and brother was called home suddenly to be with the Lord on May 8, 2021. Frederick was born in Stoughton, MA on July 8, 1962 to Sadie Washington and Frederick E. Washington Sr. He was preceded in death by loving mother Sadie Washington, cherished nephews Darnell and Jermaine Zimmerman.

Frederick aka Ricky to friends and family was raised in Brockton and Boston. He graduated from Weston High School in 1979. He was an avid fan of sports and was a member of the track team. He also attended Norwich University. His former classmates describe him as being upbeat, positive, and determined.

At the time of his passing, he was employed at the Conley terminal in Boston as a clerk. Frederick served in the U.S Naval Construction Battalion aka Seabees. He was a licensed CDL truck driver.

He was also previously employed at Highway Drivers Leasing and Beantown Trolley. He followed in the entrepreneurial footsteps of his father and uncles. He was employed by his uncle in the paving industry in Randolph, MA. He was the owner of a limousine company.

His take on life was to laugh, pray and hope for the best. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed cooking for and entertaining family and friends. Ricky could be counted on to run errands and was accessible to assist others in any capacity.

Those left to cherish his memory, mourn, and celebrate his life are sons Frederick E. Washington III, Shawn F. Washington and Jeremiah F. Washington, daughter Jerica D. Washington, father Frederick E. Washington Sr (Linda Savory-Washington) sisters Taundalier Zimmerman, Darleen Barnes (Keith Maurice Barnes, deceased), nieces Sarcha Auguste (Franky Auguste), Miranda Barnes, goddaughter Alexis Christina Brown, step brothers Terrance Edwards Sr, Irwin Edwards Sr, and Gerald Edwards Sr. He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends that he called family.
