Dear Marie and Egan family: It was with a sadden heart that we learned of George's passing; he truly was a man who touched other lives in a positive and meaningful way. Both of us were so fortunate to have known this unselfish "Southie" man. We shall never forget those wonderful New Year Eve parties at the Post. He always made us feel welcomed and special. His dedication to assisting Veterans' and his example of giving of himself to help others is an attribute Jim and I will never forget. May the wonderful memories you have of George sustain you during this most difficult time. Thank you for your service, George; and may you rest in peace. With our deepest sympathy, we are, Rymo & Ms. Peggy

To the Egan family: Sorry for your loss. It was such a honor to have known George and be his friend. In life it is rare to meet a person who just by his/her presence changes your life for the better. George was that type of person and had a profound impact on so many lives including mine. You may have passed my pal but the memories will live forever. May you rest in peace my friend.
