Gerard Graul Obituary

GRAUL Gerard Joseph, age 54 years of Lakeville, MA died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Patricia (Farrenkopf) Graul. Born Wednesday, March 6, 1957 in Boston he was the son of the late Charles E. and Margaret M. (Johnson) Graul. Gerard was a resident of Lakeville and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was retired from the City of Boston Fire Department where he was Fire Chief. In addition to his wife Patricia he is survived by three daughters Jennifer Weisberg and her husband Timothy of Wareham, MA, Melissa Graul of NY and Meredith Graul of Dartmouth, MA; a son Gerard J. Graul, Jr. of Lakeville and a grandson Adam Weisberg. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 9:15 A.M. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., LAKEVILLE, MA followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in Sts. Martha and Mary Church in Lakeville. Interment will follow at 12:45 P.M. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 3:00 P.M. 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. For additional information or directions please visit www.d-mfh.com
