João Teixeira Obituary
As the youngest child, he was very adventurous. In 1955, he migrated to Brazil in search of a better life and later migrated to the United States of America in 1957. He met the love of his life, Isabel "Bella" Barros and married her shortly after in April of 1961.
He is survived by his beloved wife Bella Teixeira, his son and daughter in law, John Teixeira and Julene Teixeira, and their two children, China and Julohn. He is also survived by his daughter Filomena Gomes Rodrigues, his brother and sister in law, Joaquim and Maria Teixeira, and a host of many nieces and nephews.
We love you, Dad, Tio Djodje, John, Jorge - as he was known to so many. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
There will be a ZOOM Viewing from 9:30am to 10:00 O'clock on Saturday January 16, 2021 followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00am via zoom at the Riley-Antoine Funeral Home, 171 Humboldt Ave., Dorchester, MA 02121
