I knew Joe since kindergarten at the atherton school in Dorchester. I thought about him as we both grew up on Stanwood st. We had loads of fun sharing good times. What can I say. Time passes and not for the good. Aaron

My deepest sympathy to the Shaulis family. Although I have not kept in contact with Joe over the years, the news of his death was a complete surprise. Back in the days of our youth, both Joe and I were motorcycle enthusiasts and traveled to many places particularly Nantucket Island. This was say, the summer of 1976 or possibly 1977. Shared many good times with joe and I will miss him greatly. Tom kelley, South Boston
