Bishop was a straight shooter for the Kingdom! A few years ago, Bishop looked at me and said "Pastor Russell you seemed to have become nicer in our Pastors meeting!" And I thought I had been nice all these years! I brought Bishop Nellie to Winston Salem to preach in the early 2000's for Mother Clouds Day and all the old Mount Calvary pioneers were truly blessed! Bishop will be missed!

I appreciate this great woman of God who was never afraid to give young preachers a chance to minister. Whatever she had, she shared... she was a woman of God no matter where she was at... and she saw me as one of her sons in the gospel. I love you for the structure you gave me! Rejoice in your new home, not made with hands, yet eternal in the heavens... I will rejoin you at the appointed time!!!

Bishop Nellie C. Yarborough, to me, was Mama Nellie. SHe was my dear friend, my pastor, a mother to me. I thank God for the many moments that we shared. May God bless you all.

Thank you so much for being such a phenomenal woman, a great pastor, and a guiding force. I have such wonderful memories of Mt. Calvary all because of you, Mrs. Smith, Maude, Mother Burke, and so many more. In all my travels I have never found anyone or place as great as Mt. Calvary Holiness Church. You made a little piece of heaven right here. I will miss you so much, but I have the best memories. Thank you Mama Nellie.

Mama Nellie, you will be greatly missed. I remember the days when we would go from Sunday School to church then come back later for YPHA. You were influential in my life and played a pivitol role in the lives of my famiily. You performed my wedding ceremony and later christened our daughters. I thank God for the time that he allowed you to be part of my life.

I will never forget when my church burned to ground "Mama Nellie'as we affectionately called her opened the doors of the empty church building and allowed my church "Concord Baptist Church" to rent for 2 years untik we could rebuild. I was 10 but I never forgot it. Woman of God, "Mama Nellie, you will be missed but Heaven rejoiced at your arrival!!!

As children my siblings and I spent countless hours in church at Mt Calvary, Mama Nellie was a great pastor and posessed a genuine motherly spirit, she had a huge inpact and influence in my life and the lives of my siblings, she will be missed greatly.

Pastor Yarbrough was one of the best Pastor a person could ask for. My husband & I are what we are today because of her. She had compassion for everyone she met. I will miss her greatly. Looking forward toward seeing her again in the our heavenly home.

From a little girl, I can remember going to Mt. Calvary and worshiping the Lord along with Mama Nellie and the rest of the Mt. Calvary family. Mama Nellie: You were & always will be in my Heart. A Phenominal Woman in the Gospel. My other Mother from a child,when I was 11 I remember you telling aunt Minnie you will Bless me as her Godchild,and you will be more then the Godmother you were my other mother. I felt so good God gave me 2 more mothers. You Christened my Children, You Officiated my Wedding as well, You taught me alot, You Prayed for me & more. Mama Nellie my life was made better with you playing important roles from my childhood years until adult hood. You christened me and my children, married my husband and I and Pastored me for well over 20 years. You are already missed.
