Patrick and Mary were oor landlords from Feb. 1981 to Nov. 1984 on Commonwealth Ave. We were both from the mid-west and knew no one in the Boston area. They became our 2nd "parents" and were beloved to us.
We both have Irish ancesters and Mary made us Irish Soda Bread every St.
Pat's Day. Patrick often commented that he loved to hear me sing (I was trained as an opera singer). Many a snowy morning, Patrick would clean off the snow before I headed off to work. He also helped us with carpentry work when we bought out 1st house.
He was very, very special to us and will be terribly missed.

Paddy was always very kind to mum (Mary) and linda and I. The care and compassion that he gave us in the times we needed support will never be forgotten.
