WHALEN Robert W. of Danvers, May 1, 2011, age 80, formerly of Beverly, beloved husband of Elaine M. (Hubbard) Whalen, loving father of Maureen Raftery & her fianc, Robert Kershaw of Lynn, Karen Hyde & her husband, Timothy of Danvers, Michael Whalen & his wife, Susan of Danvers, Robert W. Whalen Jr. of Beverly, grandfather of Jenna Raftery, Brett Raftery, Sarah Whalen, Brandon Hyde & Lauren Hyde, brother of Gladys Powers of Peabody, William Whalen of Ipswich & the late Herman Whalen. His funeral Mass will be held at St. Richard’s Church, Forest St.,, Danvers, Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 10 a.m. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (NORTH BEVERLY location) Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Robert’s memory to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
