Stephen Chinetti Obituary

Stephen "Steve" J. Chinetti, 87, of Chelmsford died March 9, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.

He was married to Joan R. Chinetti with whom he would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on March 31.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Angela Chinetti.

He graduated from Boston Technical High School with the class of 1953 and attended Lowell Institute and Lincoln Technical Institute.

Steve retired in 1995 after 43 years from Raytheon of Bedford where he worked as a mechanical engineer.

He enjoyed scuba diving.

Steve was a member and past president of the Chelmsford Lions Club.

Besides his wife Joan, he is survived by his son, Stephen and his wife, Eileen Chinetti of Tyngsboro, MA; daughters, Lori and her husband, Bruce Mullen of North Berwick, Maine, Katherine Farias of East Hampton, CT, Jean and her husband, John Robertson of Merrimack, NH and Nancy and her husband, Warren Dostie of Hooksett, NH; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was the father-in-law of the late Peter Farias.
