I'm going to miss you. So many tears that we've shed; so much laughter that we've shared through those tears. A friend is a friend until the end..but it never truly is..because I still talk to you like you never left. Watch over our babies, Sue. Rest now with the angels..and save me a seat...and ...one of these days..."I'll meet you on the other side."

I boarded the smoke-filled school bus in front of the old wooden Rumford Elementary school on the first day of junior high school in September, 1969. As a scared 7th grader heading to the Kennedy, I met a kind, fun and wonderful girl named Susan Guertin. Susan invited me to sit down beside her for the bus ride. It was one of my best memories.

Mario, Nick, Adam & family,
Growing up I remember your Mom being such a good Mom & more recently I have seen Gianna's eyes light up as she spoke of her grandmother. I know how cherished she was to all of you, and I hope you find peace in your memories of her. Please give Gianna a hug from Mrs. Nickerson.

I say with a very heavy heart that I will truly miss you Sue!!! I met you at a time in my life when i thought i would never see that light again. You brought such happiness and laughter with you everytime i saw you. You were the dose of fresh air that my mother in law needed and you gave her true friendship.
