ALIESE CAVANAUGH Obituary

ALIESE CAVANAUGH Aliese DuPreoux Cavanaugh of Boulder City passed away on May 2, 2021 in her home surrounded by family. She was born on October 30, 1935 in Delaware. She married Robert Cavanaugh on February 28, 1972. She moved to Las Vegas in 1953 and to Boulder City in 1988. Aliese was a strong spirited lady with a strong faith and was a member of Boulder City Calvary Chapel. She volunteered many hours with the Nevada State Veterans Home, Elks Lodge, and the Salvation Army. She and her husband, Cav, went with the Salvation Army to Israel. Gardening, floral artistry, and painting with stencils were a few of her favorite hobbies. She worked many jobs over the years including cocktail waitress, nurse, florist, but her favorite was as wife, mother and grandmother. Aliese is survived by two children Shelley (Andy) Miller, Robert Cavanaugh; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren whom she considered her greatest blessings. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert and a son, Jack Cavanaugh. Family will hold a private burial at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband. A celebration of life with be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 @ 1:00pm at Calvary Chapel located at 1000 Nevada Way, Boulder City, NV.
