Kathryn Jordan Obituary
My mom was born a 'prairie flower' in Carter, Mont. on June 7, 1919.
Her life was so full and vital. She had a veracious desire to learn and explore, getting her nursing degree at MSU in the mid 1940's and then teaching. She met my dad, Paul Jordan, and from there they shared a wonderful life together, traveling, experiencing a myriad of life's journeys with so many others and in many different places. My brothers and I loved those times. We came back to Bozeman in 1959.
My mother was an outstanding role model - loving, competent, hospitable, deeply spiritual, fun, and a goal reacher. She went back to MSU in the 1970's, getting her masters, and teaching. At the age of 56, she obtained her Ph.D., going on to teach at MSU and later, in a Bible college and church - all her joy.
Even after dad was gone she was strong and faithful, a best friend, until age 92. She is survived by myself, Sharon Mohr and Dani Jordan; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
