Lance Greydanus

1986 - 2025

The Greydanus family was hit with a tragic loss on Friday May 30th, 2025. Lance Taylor "Tay" Greydanus took his life while living in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born in Bozeman, MT on May 26th, 1986, to Arlyn and Nyla Greydanus. He grew up with his brother Austin in Missoula starting in 1988, but 9 years later moving to Helena where he spent the remainder of his early years. As he got older, life handed him challenges with many unfortunate circumstances.

Lance was a great friend to many people, an extremely hard worker, smart, and gifted with his ability to shoot. He had a love for Montana, hunting and playing golf with anyone of his friends but especially his dad, Arlyn. Although we all live with burdens, Lance could not bear the weight of his any longer and is now relieved of all the severe pain he was experiencing. He is survived by his wife Tabatha Greydanus, her children Jason, Zackary, Zane, and Jacob of Leeds UT, parents Arlyn and Nyla Greydanus of Manhattan, brother Austin (Brittany) Greydanus, niece Ashlyn and nephew Adryan Greydanus of Belgrade, stepchildren from a prior marriage Lizann, Allison, and Taylor Keller of Libby, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Arie and Catherine Greydanus, and maternal grandparents Luke and Christine Kamps.

There is a visitation on Monday, June 9th at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. A burial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at Bozeman Christian Reformed Church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to the Mason Moore Foundation as Lance was a big supporter of Law Enforcement.
