Brenda Steiner Obituary

Brenda Ann Steiner, 66 of Parrish, died on September 8, 2006 after a long illness. She was born in New Jersey where she spent most of her life until moving to Brookfield, Connecticut in 1982.She was a graduate of Orange Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Orange, New Jersey and attended Georgian Court College in Lakewood, New Jersey. She retired to Manatee County in 1994. Brenda was a member of the River Wilderness Country CLub where she was a past officer of the River Wilderness Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association, a past member of the Social Commitee, Art Association, Book Club and the Lunch Bunch. She was also a past member of the Manatee County Art Association. She is survived by her husband, James of Parrish; daughter, Kristine Harrison of Behtel, Connecticut, her son, James, Jr. of Sarasota; cousins and many special friends. A Celebration of her Life (memorial gathering) will be held on Wednesday, September 13 at 11 o'clock am at Mansion Memorial Funeral Home 1400 36th Ave East Ellenton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34234.

Dear Mr. Steiner, Jimmy & Chris,

I am so sorry to hear about Brenda's passing. Brenda was a wonderful woman who held a very dear place in my heart. I have been blessed to have become a friend of hers. She had an amazing perspective on life, and her words of wisdom helped me many a time. My thoughts are with all of you.
