David Mooney Obituary

David Mooney
July 8, 1950 - July 2, 2022
Bradenton, Florida -
David William Mooney, 71, Bradenton went to be with our Lord July 2nd, 2022. He was born in Omer, Michigan to William (Bill) and Faye Mooney July 8th, 1950. He grew up in the small town of East Tawas, Michigan, where the Mooney family has called home for many generations. After briefly living in a few other States and several childhood trips to Sarasota, in the year of 1980 he decided to call Sarasota/ Bradenton his home. David was a man of many skills and trades. With those skills he took to woodwork that led to building a rowboat from start to finish along with other small projects, such as, chairs and picture frames, just to name a few. He loved being outside enjoying the Florida sunshine and you could almost always find him near the water. In the last few years he took to social media and liked watching others videos, which led to him making some of his own. Mainly on Instagram. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. David is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Desiree Mooney; grandsons; Jonathan Jr., Bryson and Liam Mooney; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Art Moore; his extended family in East Tawas, MI. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
