Ferne "Kay" Kinsey

Ferne ''Kay'' Kinsey, 91, of Bradenton, passed away Dec. 1, 2006. She was born on June 25, 1915, in Randolph County, Ind. She owned and operated The Debonaire shop, in Ada, Mich., until her retirement in 1965, when she got sand in her shoes, and moved to Bradenton. She is predeceased by her husband, Rev. J. Herbert. She is survived by a half-sister, Sally Kaufman; daughter, Santha S. (Vito) Plantamura, their son, Charles (wife, Stephanie, children, Bianca and Devan); son, Robert W. (Jeanne), their children, Kristen (Michael) James, Jonathan (wife, Becky, daughter, Emma), Kelleigh (daughter, Skyler); daughter, Donna, her daughter, Kate (Lou) Burr (daughters, Kinsey, Jadyn and Ashlyn); daughter, Liz (Jim) Moore, their sons, Ryan, Bryce (Kerry), and Kevan; as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, 11a.m., at Toale Brothers Bradenton Chapel, 912 53rd Ave. West. Private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Golf Lakes Memorial Fund, 5050 5th Street East, Bradenton, FL 34203. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Bradenton Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
