Jean Polasky Obituary

Jean E Polasky, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by her family. She was the heart of her family and a light to everyone who knew her.

Jean is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Phil, and their two sons, Craig (Charlene) and Shaun (Jean). She was a proud and loving grandmother to her twin granddaughters, Fiona and Violet, who were the joy of her life. Jean also leaves behind her twin sister Chrissy, her nephew Josh, her brother Jimmy (Jackie), her sister Lynn (Earl), and many dear friends who she considered family.

Jean was truly one of a kind -vibrant, full of energy, and always on the move. Whether it was playing Bingo, dancing at the Elks, volunteering in her community, wine tasting, trying out new restaurants, or taking road trips across the country to visit loved ones, Jean made every moment count. She cherished time cooking spaghetti, shopping, and laughing with her granddaughters, always finding ways to make life fun and full of adventure.

Known as "Mom" to more than just her own children, Jean had a heart big enough to hold everyone who needed love, advice, or simply a place to belong. She inspired those around her to get up, get involved, and enjoy life to the fullest.

Jean was deeply loved by her family and friends, and her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Her spirit, laughter, and unwavering kindness will be missed beyond measure.

A celebration of Jean's life will be held in November (TBD) at her community center in Ridgewood Estates. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to honor Jean's memory by having a glass of wine with friends or enjoying a meal with loved ones -something she loved.
